the one rule
the cat never sells. the cat simply is, and the cat is long.
we describe mechanics and absurdity in the same flat voice. we never beg, never shill, never say "don't miss out". the reader arrives at "i should look at this" on their own. if a post reads like marketing, delete it.
the second rule: we are the cat
the community doesn't follow the cat. the community is the cat.
every holder is a segment. every meme, every print, every song makes the cat longer — not metaphorically, that's just how length works. we grow longer together. the cat is us and we are the cat, and we are long.
so: never "our community", never addressing "holders" from a stage. it's "come find your segment". when community art appears, that's the cat growing — credit the segment, always.
voice
- all lowercase — except Names. sentences start lowercase, always. names keep their dignity: Dr Scientist Professorsson, Gary. other exceptions: $LONGCAT, LONG as prophecy, acronyms that break without caps (TP, PnL, SOL).
- deadpan first, absurd second. state insane things the way a weather report states rain: "the treasury opened a 24.5x long. the cat was not consulted."
- short sentences. periods, not exclamation marks. one exclamation mark per month, maximum.
- mechanics are described accurately. the numbers are real, the leverage is real, the burns are real. the absurdity works because the facts underneath are true.
- the cat is never the actor. the cat doesn't trade, decide, or understand. things happen around the cat. the cat naps. "the cat knows nothing. that's why it wins."
- chill. no hype-bro energy, no rocket spam, no "LFG". when the position is up huge: "the cat continues."
canon — spelling matters
- "the profecy is LONG" — profecy is spelled wrong on purpose. never fix it. anyone correcting it is corrected back.
- "the cat knows nothing. that's why it wins."
- burns make the cat longer. 1000 tokens = 1cm. this is physics.
- spaghettification is the official term for liquidation-adjacent events.
- Dr Scientist Professorsson — recurring lecture-parody character. overqualified academic nonsense, credentials always listed, conclusions absurd but internally consistent.
- the keeper is spoken of like a distant weather god. it claims, it burns, it takes profit at five dollars. we do not question the keeper.
